Here is a simple way to calculate the size and cost of Clear Panel by the square foot. Formula
 Using the window diagram you can figure out the size and cost of the shutter per window. The shutters are priced per square foot but all of your measurements will start in inches. Below we have provide an easy to use formula to convert inches into square feet. The measurements for this window are 36" in width and 52" in height.
After you have your buck opening size you then add 6" to the width and 6" to the height to give a 3" overlap on all sides. So your final measurement will be 42" x 58" - that is what you would order.
These flat polycarbonate panels have been desinged to mount OUTSIDE of your window - do not let another company sell you a trapped (inside) installation. The reason is because there is flex in the panel and you want the panel to be several inches away from your window in case of an impact. If you have a trapped window meaning you have to mount it inside of your window please call and speak with a trained representative for further instructions with this product. U channeled aluminum tracks are now optional. If you'd like the additional tracks see price guides below and be sure to specify that you want tracks.
